Disney Vacation Club Resale Listings
DVC Sales maintains a constantly updated inventory of resale contracts across every Disney Vacation Club resort. These listings represent significant savings compared to purchasing directly from Disney, often $50 to $100+ per point depending on the resort. Our platform provides detailed information on each contract so you can make informed decisions about your DVC membership.
Complete Contract Details for Informed Decisions
Each listing includes the essential information you need to evaluate a contract:
- Total points and available points by use year
- Current dues status and annual dues amount
- Contract expiration date
- Asking price per point
- Our internal value assessment showing market positioning
This transparency allows you to compare contracts effectively. You can see immediately whether a contract is priced competitively, what your ongoing costs will be, and how the expiration date fits your long-term vacation plans. We've found that buyers who understand these details upfront feel more confident throughout the purchase process.
Contract Expiration Dates Explained
DVC contracts have predetermined expiration dates that vary by resort. The newest resorts like Disney's Riviera Resort expire in 2070, while older resorts like Disney's Old Key West Resort expire in 2042. Most Walt Disney World resorts fall somewhere between 2054 and 2066.
The expiration date affects both price and value. Contracts with more years remaining typically cost more per point, but they also provide more years of vacation benefits. Consider your age, your family's likely vacation patterns, and whether you might want to pass the membership to children when evaluating different expiration dates.
Streamlined Offer Process
Our platform makes submitting offers straightforward. Click "Make an Offer" on any listing, specify your terms, and the seller receives immediate notification. You can offer on the asking price or submit a lower offer based on your assessment of the contract's value.
Once a seller accepts your offer, we prepare the purchase contract and coordinate with a Florida title company for closing. As your licensed broker, we handle all communication with Disney regarding their Right of First Refusal process and keep you updated throughout the transaction.
Right of First Refusal Process
Disney maintains the right to purchase any resale contract at the same price and terms you've agreed to with the seller. This process typically takes 30 to 45 days from when Disney receives the contract.
Disney exercises ROFR more frequently on contracts they consider below market value, particularly at popular resorts or when prices are significantly under recent sales. While waiting for ROFR can feel uncertain, it actually helps maintain stable resale values across the DVC system.
Understanding Resale Limitations
DVC resale contracts don't include Disney's Membership Extras program. You won't receive merchandise discounts, special member events, or access to certain promotional offers available to direct purchasers.
However, resale members have full access to the DVC reservation system, including the critical 11-month home resort booking window and 7-month booking window at other resorts. You can bank and borrow points, make waitlist requests, and use all the core benefits that make DVC valuable for regular Disney vacations.
Most families find the thousands of dollars saved on resale far outweigh the value of the extras. The core vacation benefits remain identical whether you purchase direct or resale.
Home Resort Priority Booking
Your home resort determines where you have booking priority. At 11 months before check-in, you can book any available accommodation at your home resort. This advantage becomes important during busy seasons like Christmas, New Year's, and spring break when popular resorts fill quickly.
At 7 months before check-in, you can book available space at any DVC resort. Popular resorts and room types often become available during this window, but booking at 11 months provides the best selection.
Transparent Pricing Structure
We charge buyers a $500 administration fee to cover contract preparation, title work coordination, and transaction management. Sellers pay our 6.9% commission, which is significantly lower than the 9.5% industry average.
If a contract includes current-year points that haven't been used, you'll reimburse the seller for those points at the same per-point price you're paying for the contract. This ensures fairness since you'll receive immediate access to those points for booking.
All costs are disclosed before you sign anything. You'll never encounter surprise fees or additional charges during the closing process.
